Description
Ego weapons are spirits that live inside the weapon, by feeding equipment to them, they gain experience in the same manner as a character allowing them to level and grow stronger, which will increase the weapons stats. Normally Egos sleep within spirit rocks and you can make a pact with it to reside into the weapon of your choosing. Letting them grow until the day they become strong enough to assist you. If both of you gain a better relationship, they will share their past story with you, but when you cancel the pact, the weapon, Ego, and past memory will be gone. Every Ego likes different things, so talk to them so you can understand their likes and dislikes. The stat increases are also different from one Ego to another, even on the same item.

Stat
There is six stats for an Ego to gain, STR INT DEX WILL LUCK and SOC
STR: Affect weapon max/min damage
INT: Affect weapon balance, can affect min damage when high level
DEX: Affect weapon Injury rate, can affect min damage when high level
WILL: Affect weapon Durability, can affect max damage when high level
LUCK: Affect weapon Critical rate, can affect max damage when high level
SOC (Social Experience): Brightness of weapon glow and different attitude when chatting (Soc is gained by chatting with the Ego)
All stats have 40 levels. Every time you feed equipment to an Ego weapon, the purchase price of the item will be the experience increase, but Egos can't gain more experience than what they can handle. (Per Feeding)

Learn how to effectively feed your Ego weapon, mood are repeated twice as a way to make it a bit difficult for the players

Things to know
- You can only have one spirit weapon at a time
- Can't put it in player shop, bank, pet, except your own bag
To form a pact with the spirit your weapon must be:
1) Weapon durability at 80%
2) Weapon experience (your experience with the weapon) at 100% (Not really)
3) Cannot be Upgraded weapon
4) Can be enchanted
4) Can have element (ice, fire, etc)
Example:
Two-Handed Sword durability is 12, 12 x 0.8 = 9.6, so you must have 10 durability to satisfy the requirement. (Round it into 10 even if you got 9.2)

You must have ONE of the premium service like Neo support card, extended space, special gift service card, or Dream life card to use Ego Weapon.

Quest to obtain ego
Note: Is too difficult to translate the land and name of npc, but I will give enough clue hopefully....
1) Having Contract and satisfying weapon IN HAND, go to 艾明馬夏 and talk to Aodhan(police chief) to obtain Ancient Spirit Magic question.
2) Talk to 特拉克 the librarian, to get the second mission.
3) Go to 杜巴頓 and talk to Aeira(book store owner), obtain book of Ancient Spirit Magic，go back and talk to 特拉克 the librarian.
4) Go to 班克爾 and talk to Edern the blacksmith, obtain key word [ancient spirit fossil] and [Ego weapon Pact]
5) Talk to Gilmore the grocery store owner, use keyword [ancient spirit fossil] to purchase [巴裡精靈PASS] for 5000G, insert the pass into 巴裡 Altar to dig for spirit fossil (must bring pick axe), dig till you obtain ancient spirit fossil
6) Give fossil to Edern the blacksmith, ask him to refine it, and what type you get is random. If is not the one you want, you can buy/trade with other player for the one you want.
7) Holding the refined fossil, 30 Elemental Remover potion, and the weapon, talk to Tarlach and use the keyword [ego weapon pact]. You can now type in Ego weapon's name, watch some animation, and you have your spirit weapon.
8) You only need to complete this quest once and you can make pact again without repeating the quest. Just talk to Tarlach.

Repair Ego Weapon
Ego weapon cannot be repair by NPC, it must use similar weapon type with Weapon experience(your experience with that weapon) as tribute.
To repair, go to ego weapon menu and choose repair. You must have Spirit's Liquor(handcraft skill to make it or buy from someone if possible) and the tribute weapon, and the spirit will tell you the repair amount and success rate. The rate and amount are mostly base on tribute weapon experience, the higher the better with the highest chance at 99%.
Tribute weapon stat, element, enchant, durability, etc. won't affect repair rate and amount.

Death Ego Weapon
When the durability become zero, Ego will die unless Ego has a lot of Will to have a chance to prevent it's death, which you can't equip it anymore to "chat" for "repair", you must buy Revival Potion for Ego Weapon (Note: shop price is 49110G.....) to raise the durability by 1, to "chat" and "repair" or make spirit liquor with your own Handcrafting skill.

Canceling pact
To cancel the pact with spirit, you must bring the ego weapon to Tarlach and use the keyword [ego weapon pact] and he will ask you if you want to cancel the pact, confirm (yes) three time, and your ego weapon will be gone and you can make another pact with another spirit.
